Here is the day to day schedule for Joanne and I while in China. I think some of the official "to do" items are subject to change. My Dad, my uncle Jerry and my brothers Kevin and Jim have all the hotel information. My sister in law Doreen has it as well and Diane at work. If you want it, please let me know before we leave and I'll email it to you.

At each airport we will have a representative of Children's Home meet us. We will also have a guide with us throughout our trip.
3/19/03 Wed - leave MSP on NW Flight 19 at 12:50 pm
3/20/03 Thu - arrive in Beijing at 9:15 pm.
3/21/03 Fri - Tour the Forbidden City and Tianammen Square
3/22/03 Sat - Tour the Great Wall and the Ming Tombs
3/23/03 Sun - Joanne and I leave for Nanchang. This is the city where we will be united with Elizabeth. We may get her Sunday evening. We will be meeting up with 3 of the families that will already be in Nanchang and have a couple more on our flight. We will have 5 families in Nanchang together.
3/24/03 Mon - If we don't get Elizabeth Sunday night it will be this morning. The adoption process begins. We also register with the provincial Civil Affairs Department, visit the notary public and begin the passport processing.
3/25/03 - 3/26/03 - Free time for the parents & children while processing continues for notary & passports.
3/27/03 Thur - pick up Elizabeth's notary and passport.
3/28/03 Fri - Finish immigration paperwork and leave for Guangzhou. We will meet up with the other families in our group. At this point it was 5 families in Nanchang and 8 families in Guangzhou. When we get there - all 13 families will be together again.
3/29/03 Sat - We get Elizabeth's Visa photos taken and maybe her medical exam.
3/30/03 Sun - Free day - shopping and seeing Guangzhou. Meeting the other families from CHSM and the November 2001 DTC list on Yahoo for dinner at the Cow and Bridge Thai Restaurant.
3/31/03 - Mon - Interview at US Consulate for Elizabeth to get her Visa to come to the US.
4/01/03 - Tues - Get Elizabeth's Visa, fly to Beijing, stay overnight at the Airport Beijing Hotel.
4/02/03 - Wed - Leaving Beijing and China for home. Can't wait to see all of you. We would love seeing you at the airport, but understand that may be difficult because its a work day. Those of you in town are welcome to visit us at home after work/late afternoon. There will be cake, coffee/lemonade and some snacks for any children. (Thanks to Leslie and her Mom for this great idea!!!)
