Here we are - in Japan - Originally posted 3/20/03

Hi everyone,
Its 1:00 pm on Friday (I think) and Joanne and I are in Narita Japan. We were only supposed to have a layover here yesterday but there was a problem in the baggage area. We sat on the plane for 3 hours and then they said they were going to have us stay over and we will take another plane today to Beijing. We are leaving in a few
hours. Today Joanne and I toured Narita with Holly and her dad David. They are part of the CHSM group and luckily they were put up in the same hotel. We have been treated very nicely by NW Air. We are in a Holiday Inn. Joanne and David saw the temple up close in the city while Holly and I walked thru the tourist stalls. We saw some cute items. We also went to McDonalds. :-) All in all we have been treated great and nothing has affected the dates we will get our daughters. We are relaxed and almost rested!
