Hi everyone.
Elizabeth is napping and Aunt Joanne is up in the room. We went touring today. We saw a family temple outside Nanchang and what will be a buddist temple. It is in the process of being built. It was a muddy walk to the temple, so 3 of us moms waited with our babies. The others went up to the temple. It sounds like it was really pretty. I bet Aunt Joanne got lots of pictures. This afternoon I am going to the Notary Office to pay a small fee for one of the official documents. Tomorrow morning we are going to the local police station to pick up the girls' passports and then about 5:30 our plane takes off for Guangzhou. We are all looking forward to the trip. This hotel has been very nice, but a change of scenery will also be good. We will also connect up with the rest of our travel group and be together from that point to the end of our stay in China. The next steps will be US related, medical and visa.
The other day we called Grandpa again. This time Elizabeth got to talk to him. Dad could hear her doing her gurgles and then I put the phone up to her ear. When Dad was talking you could tell she was listening because her eyes got big and she was quiet. I believe one of his comments was telling her to keep Mommy up at night. What a kidder my Dad is.... :-) I am happy to report that Elizabeth is a wonderful sleeper. Hope it doesn't take her long to adjust when we get back home. More and more of her personality is coming out. She is smiling and laughing more. All the babies are... its great to see.
Probably won't get a chance to post again until Guangzhou. Talk to you then.
Love Joan
