I just realized that yesterday it was one month since I chased Ella down in Wuhan. I am happy to say she is firmly attached to me and no longer runs away! She is liking her sister more and more each day and we have a blast. Yesterday we had lunch and shopped with Grandma Jo and had a great time. Today we are meeting up with another family that just got back from China about a week before we did. I can't wait for our girls to meet. They are both 2 years old. They also have a little boy Elizabeth's age so it should be a fun afternoon.
I took Ella and Elizabeth to the doctor on the 23rd. Elizabeth needed her 5 year old shots and was very brave. Ella had blood drawn so they could see if her shots were up to date. It turns out she needed 3 shots too. Ella was not happy about that. But, its done for now. I am going to call the Palate Doctor again to see about getting an appointment while I am still on leave. But both girls are healthy and happy! So is mom.
Elizabeth's class did a play based on the old book, Caps for Sale. Elizabeth was one of the Monkies and did great! Then on June 1st Daycare had a BBQ welcoming us home and welcoming in Summer. That was fun and the girls all had a blast.
