Plans are made to be changed.

My goals for Saturday and Sunday were to take all the Christmas stuff down and put it back in the attic as well as start working on the office again. I figured the girls would play upstairs while I worked in the room. Well.... Ella woke up in the middle of the night Friday night with a high fever. I gave her tylenol right away but she was pretty hot. In the morning, before the next dose of Tylenol really kicked in, I took her temp and it was 101.5. It didn't take long for it to go down but she was pretty clingy all day. Elizabeth had a birthday party Friday and another one on Saturday. When I picked her up from the Saturday party she was pretty ornery... well guess who else got the fever next? Little Miss Elizabeth. Elizabeth's was 100.7 when she started the Tylenol. They both went to bed early and slept good. Today is pretty low keyed with no more fevers. We did have some throwing up last night and a little more today but nothing really bad. Ella is napping and Elizabeth is watching cartoons on tv while laying on the couch. She looks like she could be sleeping soon too. I will get the boxes down for the Xmas stuff soon and will start working on that later. It may wait until after they are both in bed for the night. I don't want to wake them and since they love helping me with stuff, I would rather they not know when I am doing it. They really just need sleep and I think they will be back to full steam tomorrow. So... it looks like the office gets ignored again. And so far I have been feeling good... let's hope that continues.

UPDATE:
Well the tree is down and the ornaments are separated by piles; mine, Elizabeth's and Ella's. The boxes are in the dining room ready to be filled up with all the decorations. Both girls slept through the night and didn't have a fever at bed time. Elizabeth said sleeping in her bed made her tummy hurt so she slept in my bed. :-) I asked if her tummy hurt the night before when she slept in her bed and she didn't answer. My brother Kevin stopped by after the girls were in bed to talk about some stuff with Dad so after he left, I got busy on the tree. Too bad it wasn't done before that because I bet I could have talked him into taking that box back in the attic. Maybe I"ll have to tell him carrying it makes my tummy hurt. :-)

Glad the girls are feeling better. You have such energy to have sick kids yet get the decorations cleaned up!
