Chin*ese Cu*lture Camp

Today Elizabeth started a summer camp. Its Chinese Culture and I hope she is having a great time. She was a little sad when we dropped her off but I just know she will be enjoying herself soon. Here is her schedule:
Dropped off between 8:00 and 9:00
9-9:10 Songs and Exercises
9:10-10:00 Tour of China
10:10-11:00 Real Life Simulation - they are taught how to use Chinese at a birthday party, doctors office, store, etc.
11:10-12:00 Basic Chinese Language and Songs
12:00-1:00 Lunch and Free Time - Elizabeth brought her ball to play with during free time
The students get to pick two electives and those classes are after lunch.
1:00-1:55 Chinese Paper cut.
2:05-3:00 Chinese Flute Music
3:00-5:30 After Care, play and snack.
Many of our friends will be there as well and Elizabeth's teacher's husband is teaching Kung Fu. Elizabeth didn't want to do that because it makes her sweat. After we found out that Adrian was the instructor, she wished she could change her elective. But, I left it as is.
On Friday they have performances in the afternoon and I can't wait.

From there I took Ella to her weekly Speech Therapy and all went well. She is working on the middle B sounds, like ladyBug or cowBoy. I think Ella's speech is getting better but the test will be this weekend. We have our family reunion on Saturday so we'll see how much better they all think she sounds.
