Happy Thanksgiving

The girls and I had a wonderful day with my brother Kevin and his family. Thanks again Kevin and Doreen for another wonderful feast. I am still full.

I am thankful for my two wonderful girls, my dad, my brothers and their families and all my aunts, uncles and cousins. I am also thankful for my good friends. Today I am thankful for Todd. He is watching my girls so I can work a holiday. This is a holiday with minimal staffing. I'll get a little extra money and the girls will have fun shopping with Todd at Menards. LOL

We were invited to my aunt Joyce's and uncle Jim's in southern MN for a big family get together tomorrow but I decided we need to stay home. Sorry aunties!!! I have projects I have not been getting done because Saturdays are Gymnastics mornings and I don't seem to get enough tackled in the afternoon. I am moving the PC stuff to the basement and hope to paint the dining room and move the piano (with help) in the next week. The girls' play area will all be contained where the piano was and then we can put up the Christmas Tree. YIPPEEE.

UPDATE:
Its been a fun day at work. Just a little bit busy with time for getting caught up (aka internet surfing). Todd brought the girls downtown for lunch. They have been wanting to come to "mom's office" for a long time. So today was a good day. I am surprised so few places were open for lunch though. Work did bring in lunch for the people working today but we went to McDonalds... oh my. Right now I am snacking on Savoy's pizza though. Yummy. The girls and Todd had a busy morning. They went to Menards for good deals. I tried finding out what they got but I guess my present is among the many purchased today from Menards. Wonder if I got a new tire iron? :-) I kept trying to get Elizabeth to tell me but no luck. She is getting good at keeping secrets. If Ella knew, she would have told me though. After lunch they hung out for a little bit on my floor but then went home for "quiet time" Hope they are having a great nap!
