Did you know you don't have to turn Alarm Clocks on?

We have had 3 blessed mornings without turning on the alarm clock. That really does wonders to tired bodies.

Day One - Christmas Morning. No Alarm Clock needed as Elizabeth sat up in bed and loudly asked, CAN WE GET UP NOW MOM? 6:30 AM. Poor Ella was still sleeping and we couldn't get her to wake. She even said I TIRED. Then we reminded her that Santa was here the night before and some of the groggies left.

The girls had a blast opening gifts.

Elizabeth asked every Santa we saw for a Pink Ipod. Santa found a really great deal on an MP3 player and she got what she asked for. Unfortunately, Mom is having trouble uploading music to the player. I'll get it though.

Ella had asked Santa for a purple poodle. Santa couldn't find a purple one but did find a white one. I just need to find a purple ribbon and all will be well.

They opened all the Santa gifts and the stockings and I even got a couple of presents from Santa. I like how he works. :-)

After church we had everyone over here. Dinner was great and then the kids all got to open more presents. It was a wonderful time with the family. Dad told me a couple of times that it was a fun party. I was just happy that Dad was still with us. I didn't think we would have Dad with us for another Christmas but God and Dad surprised us. Thank you God!

Yesterday we woke about 7:30 and relaxed all day. Ella stayed in her PJs all day. Elizabeth and I changed only because we were going outside to play in the snow during Ella's nap. Ella was still sleeping when we got in so Elizabeth and I played a couple of her new games. Then Cindy and her dad Mel stopped by and we had a nice visit. Ella woke right before they got here. She was getting a kick out of wearing her pjs all day.

Today I woke at 7:30, Elizabeth at 8:00 and Ella at 8:30. Tomorrow we will need the alarm set again so we aren't late for church but its been a restful few days.

Last night Elizabeth was sick. I was worried she was getting the bug that had been running around daycare. But, she slept wonderfully and woke up feeling 100% better. So we stuck with our plan of going to Eagles Nest Indoor playground. It was alot of fun. We used our new navigational toy from Todd to get there. In the past I would have used Mapquest so this is going to be fun to have. We stopped for a late lunch and now are resting. Ella and I are in our cozy basement watching Sleeping Beauty. Elizabeth is upstairs watching Disney. I think Hannah Montana will be on soon. She didn't want to watch Sleeping Beauty again. I don't blame her. Ella knows it so well she says the script with the characters. As a matter of fact, her new puppy is named Sleeping Beauty. :-)

Enjoy your holiday weekend and I hope you get rested as we have.

I'll do a picture post soon.
