Mom it has to be Short Sleeves

It was one of those mornings already. At 6:15 am Elizabeth came down and found the white shirt I had for the day. Her school is having Chinese New Year performances today and tomorrow. Her teacher sent home a letter saying White Shirt Black Pants and they can wear their Red Chinese dresses on top as long as they are easy to take off. So I though we were all set. Elizabeth has Black Pants and a long sleeved white shirt and her Red Chinese dress is a little big so it should slip off just fine. I didn't see a need to shop so that was good. Elizabeth saw the shirt and said I need to cut the sleeves off Ye Lashi told her it has to be short sleeves. I talked her out of cutting the sleeves and rolled them up. She also asked me to write a note to her teacher. :-)

Yesterday I took my Dad in to for day surgery, and all was great. I was wiped out though. We had to be to the hospital at 5:30 am. I woke up at 3 am because I didn't remember if I turned on my alarm. I had but couldn't get back to sleep. Todd came over at 4:55 am so the girls could sleep to their normal time. He brought them to school and daycare. Thanks Todd.

This last weekend we had a super fun time with some other China Moms and kids. It was great fun. We had awesome weather and lots of fun. The girls sled or played in the snow and did crafts. We also got rides behind snow mobiles. It was great. I'll add more later but need to get Chinese Princess ready for her day. Hope the rolled up sleeves work fine.

:-)
