Elizabeth and Ella: Last Days of our Florida Vacation

On Wednesday (4/1) we didn't have any plans. So we slept in and relaxed in the morning. I did a load of laundry and Todd brought Elizabeth down to the pool. Ella and I were meeting them when I got the clothes in the dryer. We didn't move all that fast and I took advantage of Todd's computer and checked out Facebook. But, Ella and I finally changed and went to the pool. Pretty soon after we got there Todd and his kids came back up to the condo and me and my girls played in the pool. I think we were down there for almost two hours. Ella got bored and watched the birds through the fence but Elizabeth LOVES being in the pool She was practicing swimming and trying somersaults in the water and having a great time. But, it was past lunch time so I brought the girls up. Sandwich making stuff was out so we helped ourselves. Todd and Chad went exploring and then Elise and I and the kids looked for the playground. My girls played but then we had to find a bathroom. We went to the lodge building and there was Todd and Chad watching tv. We used the facilities and went out the door and walked back to the condo. The next day was Chad's birthday so we were going to have a nice steak dinner. Todd, Elise, Cameron, Elizabeth and Ella went to the store. Chad was checking out the internet and I read some magazines and then took a nap. That was wonderful. When they got back Ella laid down with me and in no time she was asleep for 3 hours. Holy Moly. Then Todd and Chad grilled up the steaks and Elise did the other food. It was a great dinner. Thanks guys.

The next morning we had to check out by 10 am but our flight wasn't until 8 pm so Todd checked out some places to go. We went to Gatorland. It was fun. Lots and Lots of alligators as well as birds and turtles. Then Todd and Chad went shopping and found a great deal on Tennis shoes. We headed to the airport and had plenty of time to relax and eat some supper. Everyone did great on the flight. I was worried about Ella because the dvd player didn't seem to charge up but she did relax and fall asleep. The only bummer was when we got to the parking lot to get our cars. Turns out my car had a flat tire. The girls and I checked one gas station by the parking lot but I couldn't find the air pump and I didn't like the area. So, we drove about a mile and got some air in the tire. The girls were home and asleep by 12:30 - not bad since we got to the parking lot at 11:30 pm. On Friday we took the car in and got two new tires. I had been filling the one tire almost weekly for awhile so it needed to be replaced. I was hoping to wait a little longer but it needed to be done. That was the first time the tire went flat so the leak was getting worse.
