They had gone to the library for a program with the other daycare kids. The program was about Family Trees and how all families are different. When they got back to daycare, Beth had them create their own family tree. Elizabeth's was BEAUTIFUL. Beth wanted to bring it to her child development class but Elizabeth hid it. Luckily she found it the next morning. I brought it into work to take a photo copy of it. Guess what? I lost it. I was sick about it but couldn't do much. That morning Elizabeth was sick so I had to run to work to get some things so I could work from home. Thankfully my boss is great. I went back to all the places I thought I may have dropped it but could not find it. I even stopped at the first floor guard desk to see if someone had turned it in the next day. No luck. I figured if I had dropped it on my floor that someone would figure out who it was but no luck. So I assumed I dropped it in the parking garage or in the elevator. With no way to find out who's it was, it probably ended in the garbage.
Yesterday when I got to work, it was on my desk. OVER TWO WEEKS LATER. I was amazed and humbled. There was no note from the person that found it and my next door cube mate didn't see who put it there. So here is my Thank you !!!! You have made me so happy. I will be framing this one for sure.

Updated - Elizabeth did all the placement of the names and only asked Beth how to spell them. She didn't remember my Mom's name and that is why there are two Moms on the paper. Normally the girls call my aunt Joanne Grandma so Elizabeth wasn't sure what to put for my Mom. I think she was just going to use her name, Grace. She also couldn't remember if she had a Foster Dad but she did. Elizabeth had a foster Mom and Dad as well as Brother, Grandma and Grandpa.

Thank goodness for the kindness of people and little miracles like that.
That family tree is super-sweet and yes, deserves to be framed!
