My oldest takes it very seriously. Elizabeth thinks it through and decides what she wants and usually sticks with it. This year there is a change. She has multiple choices. Now I am going to post the photos and I really hope Elizabeth listened when I said we are not buying from this place because its pretty expensive but it gives us great ideas.
Ella wanted to be a princess, then a super hero and now she wants to be a spy. I couldn't find any spy outfits yet but I am sure her plan will change.
These are Elizabeth's Choices with direct quotes.
Yes I definitely want this.

Yea, she's the one.

This is our Fav

That looks really pretty, I want her.

It's cute.

I call that one.

I want to be Gabriella

Here are Ella's with Ella's comments.
She's kinda cool

I want those shoes

I wanna be that girl.

Hey, that's wierd.

We welcome any ideas and advice on how to make sure my girls know these are not their costumes but ideas for creation. I wonder if Grandma Jo can sew these up?

We got that catalog last week. E-v-e-r-y night we have to look at it. It's the durn pink princess that turns up tops every night. Enjoy your "window shopping" girls.
Oh - and dress Ella up as Julia Childs - she was a spy ya know!
We don't get that catalog but we have been talking about Halloween costumes! Cute comments!
Piper has known who she has wanted to be for TWO years...but the costume she wanted didn't come that small! She has wanted to be Violet Incredible and I just picked up a costume on ebay for a good price. Now I just need to find something for Paisley...Piper says she needs to be Dash, but I don;t want her being the sidekick every time.
I made most of the girls costumes, last year Piper was batcat from the Charlie & Lola series, but she ended up looking like a retro batman. The year before she was 'Lola' and her Dad was 'Charlie'...Halloween is a big day for her, it's also forever family day!
Those are amazing costumes (and they should be, for how much they cost!) Hope you find the perfect costumes!
