Today was UBER BUSY. I didn't get out of work on time and there was a Wild game in town. If you don't get out of DownTown before the crazies come in, its tough. So, I was late getting to daycare and a smidge late to school. On the way to daycare I asked God for help. Please help with the deadlines, please help me find a way to get more balance, please help me have patience with the crappy drivers. ;-)
At Faith Formation I heard His reply. They had a reading in the family prayer time. The reading was to Not Worry, God will provide. Just look at the wild flower... it has enough to flourish so why wouldn't God give you what you need to flourish. I had a half smile while the reading was spoken and appreciated it.
I also just read a post on another blog about having patience with kids. The main point or mantra was the thought that I am going to miss this some day. I heard both messages and hope they sink in. I need to be more in the moment with my girls and worry less about things out of my control. Bring on those Wild Fans. :-)
