Ella and I have an important duty during Elizabeth's Faith Formation class. We are Hall Monitors. Usually that means we walk on the first floor of the school and then go up to the second floor and walk and then sit down at the end of the hall. We didn't have any books or paper or any other time crunching stuff but Ella had the answer. Tell me a story about China Mom.
So we talked about when Grandma Jo and I went to China to get Elizabeth and also for our trip to bring Ella home.
Ella asked if I was there for her 1st birthday.
Sorry Honey, I wasn't. That makes me sad Mom. Me too but I have been with you for your 3rd and 4th Birthdays and pretty soon you will be 5. Big smile from Ella. We also talked about how her Foster Mom was with her though. Ella said she was sad and missed her. We talked about that too and that its ok to miss her and that I wish we could meet her so I could say Thanks for Loving My Girl! I asked Ella if she remembered her and if she had a Foster Dad... she said yes. I don't know if she did or not and we don't know their names but we talk about them and that is good.
She also told me again that she didn't like me in China but she liked Grandma. Why did you like Grandma? Because she is my favorite. You and Grandma are my favorits now too Mom. Thanks Sweetie.
For some reason she asked me if I woke up Grandma when she was sleeping in China. I said no, that Grandma is a good sleeper. ;-) Ella thought that was true and told me she wakes up Grandma when she stays at her house. What does Uncle Jerry do? He looks up and rolls back over Mom. LOLOLOL
Hope Grandma Jo and Uncle Jerry are having a great time in AZ with the other relatives. Hi to Aunt Joyce and Uncle Jim too and I think Uncle Butch and Aunt Jeanne are there too. Love you.
