Question from Ella: Hey Guys - is it raining?
Elizabeth: Yes, is the thunder and lightening scaring you?
Ella: Yes
Elizabeth: You can go to Mom's room, right Mom?
Mom: Yup - that's right.
So Ella runs into my room with two stuffed animals and says YIKES
Elizabeth choose to stay in her room with the covers over her head.
I never fell back to sleep but they did. Time to get the house moving though.
Thankful for the rain - we needed it. Hard to believe when just a few weeks ago St Paul was under a flood warning. But now the grass will look much much better.
UPDATE:
On the way to Ella's bus today we had a fun conversation
Ella: My heart is sad
Mom: Why?
Ella: The thunder stopped my good dream.
Mom: Maybe you can have it again tonight?
Ella: No, I only have that good dream on Tuesdays.
Mom: Ella I love how you think and talk, you are a fun kid.
Earlier I had also told Elizabeth that she was a great sister. It was really nice of her to take care of her baby sister by letting her know she could go to me.

I was right there with you and Julie! Elizabeth woke up and fell asleep in my bed but then I was only sort of asleep :-)
