8 Years

I was just looking at pictures of Elizabeth the first year we were together.  Part of me can't believe it's already been 8 years together.  I can't believe I waited so long to be a mom.  The happiness Elizabeth brought me is unmeasurable. I am so proud of the girl you are becoming Elizabeth. 

You work hard, play hard and love strong. 

You are a polite and caring person. 

You have a strong mind and are thinking through your opinions and it shows me you put deep thought into things. 

You love Justin Bieber's music and are ok with me singing along. 

Most of the time you are a wonderful big sister.  The rest of the time is to show me you are a normal sister.  ;-)

You have been reading in Chinese for a couple of years now.  Last night you read 3 books in English to Ella and me.  Awesome! It has been a struggle for you but I think you are getting over that hurdle.  Proud of your hard work and commitment

You have struggled lately with the time commitments you have.  I hope it gets better now that we have relaxed the schedule some.  Thank you for staying with gymnastics for now.  I think you get alot out of it but if it gets too much, we can take a break and look for something else.  But you really enjoy doing splits and cartwheels - even the one handed kind.

You are starting to do sleepovers and want to spend time with friends.  Usually I think that is great.  It shows me you are growing up.  Please forgive me if once in awhile I want it to be just us.  I miss having you around and that won't ever change.
