Ella's Birthday Party with Friends

Oh it was a fun one!

Elizabeth had a friend over for a sleep over on Saturday.  We also had friends over for dinner to celebrate with Todd for his birthday and then the next day we met Dad for church.  After church we picked up cupcakes and went to Club Just Jump.  I can't believe how much fun it was.  Ella was very sweet with her friends and was quick to say thanks.   The thank you cards are waiting for us to work on soon. 

Earlier in the week Ella was telling me she wanted a boy party.  I asked what that was?  She said it's when you have boys over and they go to your room and you shut the door.  I said no boy parties for you for awhile... girls and boys but not in your room.  :-)

Here is Ella with Zoe.  Sweet friend and family.  Zoe's Mom and Dad pick up Ella on Tuesdays to give her time to play with Zoe after school.  It also gives Ella a break from some of the After Care drama.  It has helped a ton.  Thanks for being a good friend Zoe, Tammy and Greg.

Elizabeth's friend Grace.  They did well on the sleep over and had a great time.  They also checked out what Grace brought for clothes and picked an outfit that Elizabeth wore that matched pretty close.

Gregory W wanted me to watch him hit the ball a few times.  Nice boy in Ella's class.  The teacher has told me that the two of them act like a married couple at school.  Oh Oh.  ;-)

Isabel is so nice.  Her mom Margaret and sister Nora are good friends of our family.  They are also part of the SAMS (Single Adoptive Moms group) and are at Yinghua.  Isabel is in one of the other Kindergarten classes at Yinghua.

Eli and I played a little air hockey.  He is from daycare and Eli and his sister Lucy were at the party.

Finn... He picked this pose.  I still can't believe I thought Finnegan was shy when I first met him.  That is Parker his older brother.  Parker is in Elizabeth's class.  He brought Elizabeth a home made gift.  I'll have to keep an eye out for sure.  :-)

It was a very nice time for us all.  But, I did tell the girls that the next few parties will be a bit more low key - after Elizabeth's party that is.  Have to keep it fair.  She wants hers at Scoops - kids spa at MOA.
