Spring Break

We are on spring break next week.  I took the week off of work and we are staying home!  I can't wait.  I need to get a few things done at home but the rest of the week will be relaxing with the girls.  One day we will go to IKEA and another to MOA but that is it for "Official Plans"

Yesterday I picked the girls up at school and Ella already had received her packet of spring break homework.  It is a combination of Chinese reading and writing and Math.  She had 2 or 3 pages done already.  She then was very focused on getting the rest done.  No amount of talking would convince her it could wait.  It is cute now but I worry it will cause her so much stress as her work load increases.   But, while waiting for Elizabeth at gymnastics last night, Ella got the rest done.  And I checked it - all correct too. Way to go Ella.

Today on the way to school somehow we got on a discussion of how it would be to be as small as an ant.

I thought that would be cool because you could go into the teachers lounge or the bosses' office and listen in.  Elizabeth said that would be wrong.  Yes, you are right.

So Ella started talking about being the size of a chipmunk but would need a megaphone so she could tell people "Hey Buddy, small person here don't step on me"

We also said if there was an elephant around we would rather ride on the top so that the elephant didn't accidentally sit on us.

See... our brains are really strong.   :-)
