Busy Busy

Our mini vacation to Chicago was a blast.   We have been crazy busy since we got back so I haven't even had the chance to dump the pictures from the camera.  I hope to do that yet this week.

Monday the girls started at CHSFS Adoption Camp.  This year it is adoption related camp in the morning and then YMCA stuff in the afternoon.  They are loving it.  It is in Lakeville and thankfully there are busing options.  I drop them and pick them up at a local school.  Yesterday they were so excited when I picked them up.  I heard all about the new new adventures and friends met.  I also heard how Elizabeth was carted around in the afternoon.  Some of the counslors gave her piggy back rides.  Turns out they do read the paperwork parents fill in.   I mentioned that E was allergic to grass and since her silly mother sent her to camp in flip flops, they felt she needed to be carried. And Elizabeth also let them know when the grass hit her it itches....  Oh My.

We did run into traffic on the way to gymnastics and both girls fell asleep.  Ella was out for an hour and Elizabeth about 30 minutes.  Thankfully it didn't affect bedtime.

CHSFS staff at camp are taking lots of pictures and I'll post a few when I get them saved to my photo account.  Day one they emailed a link that had over 400 pictures.  I found my girls in about 10  of those :-)

We also had a great Father's Day celebration at our home.  Thank you to Jim for doing the grilling in the rain. Glad he and Kevin moved the grill to the garage.  Dad enjoyed seeing everyone and he really had a great day.  Great to see everyone that was able to make it - Dad, Jim, Pam, Grace, Madeline, Kevin, Doreen, Jere, Lynday, Noah, Hunter and my crew.  Lee was unable to be there and Laura spent the day with her Dad.  Josh was on our minds - especially Kevin's I'm sure.  Josh is doing ok in Afghanistan and still on track to be home in November / December.
