What a great day

The girls have wanted to go swimming but I said no yesterday - too many to do things and not enough energy.  Today during church Elizabeth asked if I had energy to take them swimming. I told her to ask me after church.  That gave me pause. I do have a project due for work and was going to work on it today but I have been tired lately and the end of school took forever.  So - I took the girls swimming. First we got some groceries, came home and had lunch and then went to the pool closest to us. It has two pools and two big slides. We got there about 1 and left at 4:30. I didn't swim but the girls had a blast.  Then we came home and after baths I made supper. We ended the night with me making choc chip cookies. The work project will have to happen tomorrow.  Memories and fun were more important today.
