Little Memories

Needing to write these down because I seem to be forgetting them.

Yesterday Elizabeth wasn't feeling great when she got home from school.  She still wasn't feeling grand when Ellyn came for English Reading tutoring so Ella switched nights and had hers last night.  Elizabeth will have her session tonight.

Earlier I suggested to Elizabeth that she do what Reenie has always suggested - take a warm bath and go to bed when you feel poorly.   It worked like a charm - she is much better today.   We also went old school and I sat in the bathroom with her and read books to the girls.  I used to do that when the girls were younger.  Then because Ella slept with me the night before (worries are getting to her) Elizabeth slept with me last night.  Have to keep it fair.   :-)

Overnight we got measurable snow and I am thankful I am working from home today.

I brought Elizabeth to school and then shoveled a bit and then brought Ella.   The maintenance guy at St Marks was shoveling and Ella asked him if she could help.  Bless his hear he let her do a few passes and when she handed back the shovel he said thank you.  Love the small kindnesses from everyone.
