Dragon Boat Festival 7/15/07

Its been going pretty well with work and daycare. We seem to be doing more quick dinners and I hope to have a handle on that soon but I am OK with going out to eat right now. We have been having fun too. On Sunday we went to the Dragon Boat Festival at Phalen Lake. Elizabeth and I have been going to this great event for the last 4 years and it was nice to include Ella this year. We met up with other friends and had a great time. We also ran into some other friends as well. I spoiled my girls and bought them some silly toys and a cute Chinese fan. Ella took a nap at home before we met up with our friends but Elizabeth didn't. She slept a little on the way to the park and ride and was a little pouty when we got there.



It didn't take her long to get out of that mood.

We even watched the boat races for awhile. It was a great day and I am really glad the weather was nice. Thanks for hanging out with us Angie! And thanks for sending me the pictures. I am still waiting to get back to the digital age. I still need to send my digital camera in for repairs. :-)



This weekend is my family reunion. I'll be taking lots of pictures and will enjoy introducing Ella to the rest of the family. My girls are at Grandma Jo's today thru Saturday because Daycare is closed so I am going to go out on a date tomorrow. Todd and I are going to see a band at a local establishment. It should be alot of fun.
