Ella, remember its Moms Birthday?

That's what I heard yesterday morning as the girls were waking up. So I pretended to be asleep and in came my two beauties. Elizabeth even sang Happy Birthday to me which was sweet. She is learning how to sing it in Chinese too. I told her I would love to get that on video. Hope she can do it for me soon.

They gave me a grill cover and a Chick Can holder. Thanks for taking them shopping Todd. I recently got a new grill (again thanks to Todd's great end of season shopping skills) and both gifts will come in very handy.







After I opened the presents that were in beautifully decorated grocery bags, we had breakfast and the girls had some crafting time. We did beading as well as creating pretty pictures for the wall. Here is a picture of the girls making pictures. Sorry its not clear - I must have been shaking.



Then we put Ella's bookcase together and the shelves on her wall. Just need to do the shelves for Elizabeth's room now and the new curtain rods and shades for all three of our rooms. Thanks again Todd for helping with the bookshelf and putting the wall shelves up. Hopefully I can do the same today for Elizabeths. Yesterday Elizabeth and I decided it was time to change the wall color in her room but I will put up before and after pictures when we do that. I think she is thinking Pink.

It was a great day for a birthday and last night Todd took me out to eat at Lindy's Steakhouse. It was wonderful. Great food and even better company. Thanks again Todd. Now I am off to take my dad to church and after we do some errands I will pick up the girls at Reenies. She took them overnight last night. I can't wait to hear how it went with Ella. Elizabeth stayed with Reenie when I was in China getting Ella so I know she did great. Thanks for being such a great friend Reenie! Hope they didn't tire you out too bad.
