Moon Festival Celebration

On Tuesday we celebrated the Moon Festival with a group of single moms. Some are in the waiting phase - hope that wait speeds up! We met at a local restaurant and had a great time. I hope next year the sky is not so cloudy, maybe we can really see the moon.

Elizabeth enjoyed being the oldest of the kids. She can't wait to get together with them all again.

Tonight was Gymnastics night for Elizabeth. She has been doing gymnastics for a couple of years now and really enjoys it. Its tough on Ella because she really wants to join in but is a little too young for this program. Every week in the locker room, Ella starts taking off her shirt. I think she thinks she is going to change into a leo just like Elizabeth. Its cute but hard on her.

Tonight Elizabeth had a spare leotard with and after Ella spilled some pop on her shirt and was trying to take it off I decided to put her in Elizabeth's spare leo. Big Mistake. I wish I had my camera with but I couldn't keep up with Ella with my hands free. As soon as she had the leo on, she was running through the doors to the gym and was at the trampoline section before I could get my tired body up to chase. The coaches let her play a little bit but it wasn't safe for her to be in there so I had to carry her out. She wasn't happy. I hope I can get her in starting with the January session. Hope she still loves it then.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.
