The snow started early and by the afternoon St Paul declared a snow emergency. Thankfully all our guests got home safely.
Elizabeth got up early with me and helped me wrap the presents for my great nephews Noah and Hunter. We got everything ready in the oven for the time bake and then Ella woke. We all went up and got into our pretty outfits. My aunt Joanne (Grandma Jo) bought a baptism outfit for Ella while we were in China but it was meant for a summer baptism. I dropped the ball on that one. But, Ella was able to wear the outfit under her dress so it made for a nice after the ceremony outfit too.

Pretty soon it was time to put on the Baptism Dress and head out.

Most everyone was there waiting for us. Kevin and Doreen picked up Dad but he needed some extra help so they were a little late. But, they were there pretty quick after the ceremony started. There were 4 families total and the service was in the lower church at St Marks.
Ella was a little nervous. We didn't get a smile out of her until we were back home. Todd tried everything to get her to smile when he was taking pictures. But, she was the only non baby there. She wasn't sure what was going on but didn't cry.

Father Huard went to each family individually for each part - sign of the cross, oil on the forehead and then we each went up on the altar for the baptism. After we got some great pictures with our family.

Thank you everyone for coming. I am glad the weather held out for the most part.
Here is Grandma Jo with her baby:

The brunch went great. The egg back is almost gone and everyone said it was delicious. The girls played with my great nephews and the adults had some good visiting. My nephew Jeremy and his family Lindsay, Noah and Hunter were not going to be able to come today for Xmas Eve so they opened their gifts yesterday. I let the girls open one each as well. Elizabeth woke up today knowing its the day she gets to open her presents.
Poor thing can't decide if she can wait or not. I have already threatened to take away a present today and its only 8:30 am. LOL Lets see how the rest of the day goes. The rest of the family is coming about 4 so we'll see how it goes. Now I just got "your mean mom" I think that is the 3rd time today.
