Group shots
We also saw our friends Reenie and Cindy. Reenie was there with her niece Tammy and Tammys children Ryan, Michael and Samantha. Here is a shot of Reenie and Cindy showing my daughter the right way to sit at the bar.
We then stopped at Poppas for a visit. We got there just as he was getting done in the dining room. We visited awhile in his room and the girls had fun on Dad's new wheelchair. Here is Ella and Dad together in the dining room
We then went home for awhile. We had a late lunch and Ella took a 3 hour nap. Elizabeth and I cleaned. She loves vacuming so I let her have at it. She did a great job. We were invited to a gathering of single moms and both Elizabeth and I were ready but Ella was still sleeping. We went up at 6 finally and she woke. We had a great time at Julie's (Tess's Mom) and met Lisa which was also fun. She is a waiting mom and was visiting from Utah. Lisa with Muriel and Tess:
Elizabeth "reading" to Tracy (Muriel's Mom)
Sunday we went to church and relaxed at home after doing some grocery shopping. Later we met up with Lori, my cousin Tom's wife, to watch their daughter Molly in a gymnastics meet. It was fun and Molly got a couple of ribbons. Thanks for letting us tag along. Later in the day Todd brought over Pizza. Work has been really busy. Year end is ramping up so its going to be a tad stressful. Yesterday Beth (Day Care Provider) was sick so I was able to work from home with Ella. Luckily she did well and I won't make a habit of it. She trashes the house and its not alot of fun for her. But, during a break in the day right before lunch, she let me know she wanted to hear some music. So, I put in the Dora CD and the next thing I know Ella is running upstairs to get the Dora Leotard. Isn't it something? Elizabeth picked this out a couple of years ago:
It does itch so she quickly changed into one of her sister's leotards and I got a quick clip of her twirling. Sorry, but I can't figure out why the video isn't loading. I'll have to check with my friends that have been successful with theirs. Luckily Ella was good. She maintained in the morning and slept for most of the afternoon. After the girls went to bed last night, I cleaned. It was Gymnastics night tonight and pretty soon Ella will be able to sign up too. She will love it. Both girls went to bed early so I finished up some cleaning and addressed the last of the Christmas cards. Tomorrow Alissa is babysitting. The "Girls" are having a party. This yearly event started out as an annual cookie exchange and now its evolved into a fun party. I thought about hosting it this year but with Ellas upcoming baptism and the family coming over for Xmas Eve, I didn't think I could put it all together. Maybe next year. Have a great weekend!

Hi Joan, thanks for visiting our blog. If you are sure, we'd love to have the airmiles. We'd pay for the transfer fee and penny rate that they charge per mile. My account only has 2300 miles in it so I have a long way to go!
my email is thehappyhoppes@yahoo.com
I can give you all the details and we can figure out what the best way to do this is.
Hayley

I'm not sure if we were actually introduced, but it was nice meeting you at Julie's party! Your girls are beautiful and it was fun listening to Elizabeth speak in Chinese!
