Sweet Blessed Sleep

It was a little tough yesterday at work because I was sleep deprived. The night before Ella woke at 11 or so crying so I brought her into bed with me. She fell asleep right away. Then about 1:30 Elizabeth woke up because she had an accident. They don't happen often but she was over tired. So, off the sheets went into the pile of laundry and she grabbed her Barney Blanket and slept at the end of my bed. Here is a picture I took the next morning:

Ella woke about then and wouldn't go back to sleep for 3 hours. I tried everything, walking with her, holding her hand, rocking and she just couldn't settle down. I finally put her back in her bed about 4:00 after rocking. She cried a little but only 5 or 10 minutes. I fell asleep and woke at 5:15 with my alarm. Well little Ella woke then too or maybe she didn't sleep at all. Who knows. She also had an accident and overflowed her pullup. So, her sheets joined the pile in the hallway. She came downstairs with me and I turned on the tv for her. After awhile she was ready and raring to go. It was right before I needed to get Elizabeth up so I wasn't able to clean up the results until today. Here is my sleeping beauty.... ha ha ha playing with the puzzle shelves

Sorry the photo is fuzzy... i was laughing and so tired the camera was heavy. LOL

Here is another one with my angel smiling

Earlier that night I got a flat tire at daycare. I drove the few blocks from Daycare to Elizabeth's school and called my friend Todd for help. He came to Elizabeth's school in the bitter cold and changed my tire. Thanks Todd.

When we got home, the girls saw the two bags of clothes my cousin Lyn had dropped off earlier that day. Thanks Lyn. The clothes were a little big but should work next year. In the meantime, my girls had a fashion show.

I had to leave work early yesterday because Daycare was closing early. That worked out nice though as Ella and I were able to get new tires and shop for Poppa. We will be bringing his purchases over this morning. Then we will go to Sister Isadores (my great aunt) to visit at St Kates retirement home for the Sisters of St Joseph. Grandma Jo will be there too and she will take the girls back to Elk River with her for an overnight. Lets pray the snow holds off until they are well on their way. Then I am meeting up with Reenie and Cindy for lunch and beverages. We haven't done that in a very long time. Tonight I will clean and if I am feeling ok I'll start on the office area again or start ripping down wallpaper. Last night we all slept in my bed but we all slept fine. After we got back from dinner we all went to bed. I think it was 9 pm when all was quiet. Part of my cleaning today will be to wash all those sheets LOL

Have a wonderful Weekend everyone!
