They had lots of fun games including the jumping thing and a cake walk.

Saturday morning we just hung out and watched some tv. The girls did some dress up and each had a turn at taking pictures.
Elizabeth did a great job with this photo:

After lunch we went to Baby Loves Disco. It was held at Bar Fly in Minneapolis. It was a ton of fun. We met up with our friends Jodi and Amelia, Julie and Tess and Annette and Genevieve. My girls had their faces painted, played with bubbles and hula hoops and danced and ate. Elizabeth was doing the hula hoop and we all cheered she did it so well. They had a give away bucket that Elizabeth wanted that we got and it came in handy later. Elizabeth slept on the way there but Ella didn't. She fell asleep on the pillows at the bar. It was alot of fun - Thanks for the invite Julie! I wish I had gotten a full shot of Elizabeth and her dress. It was a full length one and she looked so cute. So did Ella. I am sure they will be wearing them again soon so I'll get a picture then.

After that we were on our way to meet up with Reenie, Cindy, Tammy, Denise, Sandy, and the rest at a fund raiser in North St Paul. On the way there Reenie called and let me know it was packed with no room to walk so we turned around and went back home. I was pretty tired by then and would not have been able to carry either of the girls. We were going to have spaghetti dinner there so we had no dinner set up. Elizabeth was sleeping in her booster seat so I was asking Ella what she wanted at McDonalds. We woke Elizabeth up when we got close to the Fair Grounds on Snelling to see what she wanted. Right as we were driving by the front gates of the Fair, Ella barfed up. So, I turned right away and parked and got her as cleaned up as I could. Even though it was cold, I had the girls open their windows to ease the smell. The clean up included using Elizabeth's bucket from the earlier event. Thanks for the sacrifice Elizabeth. That was a nice thing to do for your sister.
We went home and I made soup and sandwiches for the girls. Ella didn't really eat much of it. She didn't have a fever but did throw up one more time in the kitchen and a little in the living room. Each time it was preceded by a really bad cough. So I think her issue is cold related. I will keep an eye on it of course and won't hesitate to bring her in to the doctor if she doesn't improve.
On Sunday we took Dad to church and out to breakfast. My nephew Lee met up with us and it was great getting caught up. Lee just got done with Semi Truck school and has started his new job. I wish you well Lee! On the way to Dad's Elizabeth said she wanted to talk to her cousins. So, I called the Florida girls on the way back from Dad's. While we were chatting, Ella fell asleep. She had eaten at breakfast and was doing alot better. They just get so tired on Sunday mornings and the busy weekend sure added to that. When we came home Elizabeth changed into pants and took a great picture of Ella sleeping. We were going on a walk and I had told Elizabeth she could pick the route. She decided we would go up Selby past Eli's Dad's store, to the new store - Patina. Then we were going to continue on checking the new cookie store (Two Smart Cookies) bummer it wasn't open on Sunday. From there we went to the park.

The girls took late naps and I did some more organizing/purging of toys they don't play with. We ate a little late but got to bed at the normal time.

Sorry about all the barfing - you're up to your eyeballs in it, it seems!
Elizabeth's bucket saves the day.
Your girls seemed to enjoy the Disco the most, so good to see you!
