I love watching Elizabeth when she is performing. She knew everyone's songs and even while sitting was singing and moving along with them. She dressed in her nice uniform skirt, pretty white tights and light blue shirt. When she came out she was wearing her black jacket zipped up tight. I found out later that she spilled her milk, chocolate milk, at lunch. I had brought an extra pair of tights in case they were needed but really didn't think I needed a shirt. Elizabeth rarely spills so that shows how excited she was.
There were a couple of comments about how well Elizabeth was singing and how animated she was and really into the performance. It really is a hoot watching her. I keep trying to talk her into doing Chinese dance but she says no every time. Oh Well... maybe she is getting everything she needs right at school.
I have pictures but haven't had a chance to upload them yet. I also have a video and if I can ever figure that out, I'll upload part of that as well.
Elizabeth's group performance, she is kind of blocked but is wearing the black jacket.

After the combined performance, we went to Elizabeth's room and the parents presented a gift to her teacher. Zhou Lashi is going to have her baby this summer so we got the baby and the big sister cute shirts. We also gave them a nice sized gift card. She had given alot of her money to her family that was dealing with the earthquake in China. A few of the parents were teared up (surprisingly I wasn't) and Zhou Lashi was too. I got pictures of Elizabeth with both her teachers and with Grandma before we left to get Ella from daycare.

Ella was sleeping when we got there but we were able to wake her. She likes to sleep "under the house" and I got a picture of her and Eli sleeping together. Its a play area in the living room. The top part of the "house" is a bed and the bottom where the doors and windows are, is the play area. They like to go in there with their pillows, blankets and lovies and sleep really well. I believe they were holding hands too.

Joanne stayed for a bit but then the weather looked bad so she headed home. I told Elizabeth she could pick a place to eat at but we were going to wait for the rain to stop or lessen cuz it was pouring. Finally about 6 we headed to Snuffy's. They were good girls and had fun with the games by the door before we left again for home. Then it was pjs and a movie. I'll be honest, I feel asleep. It was Mulan II and we have watched that hundreds of times. We all went to bed when it was done but then I couldn't sleep. I read my book and fell asleep about midnight. Coffee will be my friend today.
Dad Update:
Thank for the emails, comments and phone calls. Dad is doing a lot better and in talking with his doctors office we can still do more if its needed. They did give him back one of the medicines and increased an existing one. Within 5 days Dad was able to move better and even ate in the dining room again. He had been eating in his room because he just didn't have the energy to leave it. We can still increase one of his meds a little more if needed but we are going to hold off to wait and see. It could be the change just takes time.
