Elizabeth had a great time at Chinese Culture Camp and started playing the Chinese Flute. She also did a great horse in Chinese Paper cut that I am going to put in a frame. I haven't decided what room yet but its going on the walls. Its pretty good. I left Ella at daycare and watched Elizabeth's performance. Elizabeth really enjoys having these special moments for just us two. We even went to Dairy Queen after. We picked up Ella at Daycare and went to Holly and Kiah's house. We have known them since we traveled together for our older girls. It was a mini reunion with the families that could make it. The girls all had fun but I didn't take any pictures. I was enjoying visiting with my friends and so were my girls.
Saturday we got up and Elizabeth wanted to clean her back room so we did. There is an enclosed porch connected to E's room and we have it set up as a play room. It had gotten some good use this last week so I was glad she wanted to clean it and was happy to reinforce the idea. Then we picked up Dad and went to our family reunion. It was so much fun. Jim and Pam and the girls were there as well as Kevin and two of his sons and their family. There were aunts and uncles and cousins and even cousins with grand children. It was a wonderful time and Thank you to Jerry and Joanne for hosting! Ella and Elizabeth had a great time swimming with Madison and Grace and Madeline. Elizabeth even got up on the tube and was pulled behind the boat by my cousin Todd. This was her first time! She was a little worried and wanted to make sure they would go slow. About half way around the lake she was asking for Faster Faster! She Loved IT!!!! Pretty soon she will be trying the water skis I bet.
Yesterday my family was over to celebrate Dad's birthday. It was a nice get together and the kids all had a great time. I gave Madeline Elizabeth's water balloons and they had a ton of fun with that. Of course Ella got wet and had to change. But that is normal for her. I think she went through 3 outfits on Saturday and again on Sunday. We had burgers and salad and great conversation. Elizabeth, Grace, Madeline and Alissa all made friendship bracelets. Elizabeth now has one on each foot and on one hand. Madeline spent the night and they are all sleeping upstairs. It was a wonderful weekend!
Have a great week everyone.
P.S. It was also my annual Girls Weekend and I was not able to go. I can't wait to hear all the stories of fun from from friends. I hope they still tell me even though the motto is "What goes on at the cabin, stays at the cabin" I thought of them a couple of times over the weekend and was hoping they were having a great time.

Elizabeth playing the flute:

Elizabeth swimming in the deep water at Grandmas. I believe its 5 feet but to her it was deep.

My nephew Jeremy with his youngest son Hunter and Elizabeth in the background.

Elizabeth swam out to the trampoline but got nervous pretty quick after getting on. So my cousin Josh is pulling it in so she can get off.

Ella lounging on the boat. That is outfit number 1. She put it back on after her suit was wet from swimming. On the tube is my niece Grace and my great nephew Noah (Jere's older son) and cousin Madison.

Here is Elizabeth on the tube with my niece Madeline and my cousin Molly.

Ella with Uncle Jim. She is covered with a towel because she fell off the boat and got soaked. Every child always has a life jacket on when near the dock or on the boat. So everything was fine.

Ella with Uncle Kevin. My nephew Lee is in the background. This is the second outfit but notice the Popsicle? After she was done, she was changed again because that cover up was spotted with purple. It will all come out in the wash.
