All systems go

Ella did great again with her Tube Surgery. This time Elizabeth went with us. She didn't have school today and wanted to come with. I thought it over and told Elizabeth that Ella wakes up hard and angry but she thought she could handle it. And Elizabeth did great. Ella did great too. She did wake up angry... the nurse called it... Madder Than a Wet Hornet. :-) The surgery itself took less than 15 minutes again. The nurses in recovery let Elizabeth pick out a popsicle for her and for Ella. We could hear Ella crying and then saw her being carried in by one of the other recovery nurses. She stopped crying when the popsicle hit her lips. Elizabeth picked out a good one!

We stopped and got Ella's ear drops on the way home and had soup for lunch. I did the drops which caused Ella some discomfort. After a dose of tylenol and motrin, she was comfortable and fell asleep. She slept for 2 hours and Elizabeth watched tv. I did some work so now I don't have to use a full 8 hours for vacation for today.

Pretty soon we are going to go to the mall to get a new cell phone and get something to eat. Then its early to bed for us all. Last night Elizabeth had a bad headache and then threw up. Glad she was able to lay low today. But an early night won't hurt her any. Tomorrow we have to be out of the house before 7 so I can take Elizabeth to school and get Ella to her bus by 7:23. Can't wait to see how she does her first day of school.

Ta Ta for now.

Update... we didn't go to the Mall. The girls were too tired so it was easy dinner and bed. Elizabeth fell asleep on the couch and after I put her to bed Ella and I read a few books and then bed for her too.
