We waited in the car for the bus to get to daycare. We would have waited by the curb but it was raining. When the bus stopped I jumped out of the car and Elizabeth helped Ella put her backpack back on. I had to hold Ella's hand or she would have run across the street without looking. She got on the bus without a care in the world.

Beth called about 11:00 to let Ella talk to me. She had a great day at school but was wiped out. With her surgery the day before the first day of school, she was one tired kid.
Weekend Pictures:
The girls go to a new place this year for gymnastics and they both love it. Elizabeth is going to try out the advanced class this next weekend. I love the place and am glad they have Saturday morning classes.

They have a great spot for the toddler class and Ella loves it. Our friend Muriel is in the same class with Ella so I get to visit with her mom Tracy every week. I met Tracy while I was waiting for Ella. She went to China a few months before I went for Ella. She introduced me to the Single China Moms group too I think. I didn't get a picture of Ella and Muriel together yet but I know we will have more chances in the coming weeks.

Right after Gymnastics we met up with the China single moms group at Deb's house. We walked to the park and all the girls had a great time. Here are pictures of my two.

We stopped at Reenies on the way home and hung out for about an hour or so. I was supposed to go out with my friends on Saturday night but I guess my girls were just too worn out. Their behavior got pretty bad and I decided it wouldn't be fair to the babysitter (my niece Alissa). So I called and canceled at 6, put the girls in the bath and then bed. They didn't fall asleep until almost 8 but they stayed in their rooms. They knew they had crossed the line too many times that day. By Sunday, they were back to my normal good girls.
