A First Grader

First Day of School went great

The girls woke up in decent moods and got ready together.

I took the traditional photo before we got in the car

We took Elizabeth to school first and she was excited to see everyone. We put her backpack on her desk and then walked her back to where Morning Care is held. I was going to take a picture of Elizabeth with her teacher but she wasn't in her room yet.

Elizabeth had finished her homework at school but I'll sign it in the morning. We had supper and played on the computer. Ella watched a Diego video. Then off to bed they went. After tucking them in and listening to Elizabeth's questions about school, it was lights out. I went to my room to watch tv. About an hour later I heard "What Doing Mom" from Ella. Oh my. I told her to go to sleep but thought I heard some sniffling then. So I went in and tried sitting by her but that didn't help. So, I laid down and cuddled. She was so cute. Ella loves holding my wrist and cupping my hand so that is what we did. She had her eyes closed and deep breathing going on but she couldn't stop her lips from grinning. I just busted out laughing. "What Funny Mom?" I told her she was too cute for words and she just grinned. She did end up falling asleep so I came down to update the blog and check email.

Ella is too cute for words, and so is Elizabeth for that matter!
