Elizabeth went to school for half the day yesterday and hopefully will stay all day today. So far Ella is healthy and so am I.
On Sunday Ella decided it was time to wear pants. She wore them on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. She looked so grown up and cute. I'll post a picture soon. Today it was raining/snowing again so guess what she wore? Her favorite dress with tights. :-)
Ella asks me all the time if I am Happy. If I just say yes, she asks why I not smiling... :-)
Last night she asked if I was happy, Yes I am and I smiled, she then said your heart not broke anymore? Wow... Of course I said it was all better. She then said her heart wasn't broken anymore either and is all better. She asked Elizabeth if her heart was still broken and she said no at first but hesitated a little. I think Ella asked her again and Elizabeth said sorta. Who knows what that means for either one. But, Ella has become the happiest girl. It amazes me looking back how hard this was for her but she seems to have come through with shining stars!
One of my friends mentioned how glad he was that Ella smiles now. Her pictures from the orphanage/foster family all showed a little girl that didn't smile. It made me wonder what life was like for her there. But, she has come through it for now.
Elizabeth is still struggling with the Foster Parent/ China situation. We talk about it daily. I told her to always come to me with questions and fears because I want to help her work through this. Some may think we talk about it too much but I never want to let a chance pass to let my girls know that I am the person they need to make them feel safe and loved.
It can come back to bite me though. Today Elizabeth said when I don't yell at them, she doesn't think about China. And that when she was a baby I didn't yell and she never thought about her Foster mom. LOL I really don't yell at them much but I got the message and will try not to react to the triggers. :-)
