Almost two years after I thought it would, Ella and Elizabeth now weight the same. :-)
After bath and hair drying, Ella stepped on the scale and up popped 34. Elizabeth then did the same. Same number. I actually thought this would have happened the first year together not the second. But, as Elizabeth correctly stated "I'm still higher than you, right mom?" "Yup, you are taller"
God bless the differences between my girls.
UPDATE 3/11/09
well... I don't know if I read the scale wrong or if Elizabeth only had one foot on it last time but... after bath tonight, the girls stepped on the scale again. This time Elizabeth was 39 pounds and Ella was 34. I don't think Elizabeth gained 5 pounds in a week but her school pants are getting small so who knows.
p.s. the girls play on the scale while getting their hair dried after bath time. They don't focus that much on their weight unless they are waiting for me and the hair dryer.

Yep - God bless those differences. Our Tongginator is in the 25% percentile for weight. I've always wondered if her mei mei will out-weigh her at some point.
We love and celebrate those differences! :) My granddaughter is 2 years younger than my daughter, and she now weighs 2 lbs. more! Grace is a teeny-tiny bit taller, but that won't last either.
