My Kids :-)

* Elizabeth told me the other day I should dye my hair... the grey is getting big.

* Ella is wearing pants every other day now. The "dresses only" girl is changing.

* Monday when I went to pick Ella up at daycare she gave me the cold shoulder. She looked me in the eye and turned her back on me. I guess she had just gotten up from her nap and wanted to play. Later she told me she was sad that I was there. But she got over it when she got to play at home.

* Yesterday Ella told me a story about a boyfriend at school. Now that the weather is nice, they play outside a little. I guess a boy was pushing another friend too hard on the swing and stopped but the way Ella described it was "My boyfriend hurt my feelings" I asked what his name was and she said "I don't know" She just turned 4... isn't that a little young for boyfriends?

* Last night at gymnastics, they told me Elizabeth should be moved up. The opening for the next level is on Thursdays at 4:30. I can't make that due to work hours. So, they thought she could handle moving up two levels because "She is really good" So we are going to try it on Saturday. Elizabeth was excited to hear they think she is really good.

* Trying to plan Elizabeth's birthday party. First she wanted it at Eagles Nest (indoor play ground) but we have been there alot lately so she changed it to the MN Zoo. We went there last weekend and it just seemed too big for me to keep an eye on all the kids and its a little bit of a drive for some. So I offered her a Pizza/Bowling party at a nice bowling alley or a Painting Party at a local art studio. She said she isn't a big fan of bowling. Darn... I could have had a beer while they were playing. But, this will be fun. I'll call later today and book the party.

I will now hold out hope that my "dresses only" gal will change to pants... at least some of the time!
