.

One of the blogs I follow is all about how kids deal with adoption and how parents can help them. They have guest bloggers that talk about their experiences. Its very interesting. Today's post was titled Wishes in the Wind.

- if you could wish into the wind 10 wishes for your adopted children, and have them granted, what would they be?

Here are my wishes for Elizabeth and Ella.

I wish

1. That they could meet their Birth Families and Foster Families
2. That they could know their "first" names
3. That they know how they are loved around the world
4. That they would be able to talk about their hurts and fears
5. That they are happy
6. That they are successful
7. That they always know I am here for them.
8. That they have fun and laugh
9. That they have deep love in their future
10. That they forgive me for taking them from their country.

Absolutely... I wish for all of that (and more, too, as I'm sure you do as well).

Wow, that is a cool idea. You are a great mom and I am sure your girls know it!

Bless your heart, some of them surely have already come true and our hopes are out for the rest.

Joan ~ Hopefully the girls will have deep love in the future but I am absolutely SURE they are experiencing deep love in the present! (whether they know it or not)
