More Wishes

I wish that Ella and Elizabeth would have been able to meet my Grandpa Henry and that Ella could have met my Grandma Julia. Elizabeth has a memory like my Grandma and when she mentions a memory from eons ago I say "Thank you Grandma Julia" Ella is like my Grandpa when its time to leave. I remember my Grandpa saying, Julia its time to go... and off they went. Fun could be happening all over the place but when Ella decides she wants to leave she takes my hand and says, Lets Go Mom. Thank you Grandpa Henry.

I wish that they knew my Dad when he was healthier. He is in love with both my girls. I remember how he couldn't stay away when I brought Elizabeth home. He was there at the airport of course and hung out at home that first day. While I was sleeping he came back and was over so much during those first weeks home. By the time I brought Ella home, he could no longer drive and was living in Assisted Living. They have their own way of bonding but they all would have loved having a more active Poppa.

I wish that I could spend more time with my girls.
