Happy Birthday Elizabeth

My big girl turns 7 today. :-)

We had so much fun yesterday

Our cousin Lynn was in town and staying at our house. She was surprising her sisters for their 40th birthday surprise party. I didn't post it on the prior post because I didn't want to spoil the surprise. So Lynn hung out with me and the girls yesterday. It was so nice to have her around. I need to look at my camera again because I know I took a picture of her with Elizabeth but I can't find it on my PC right now. Opps.

The day started with gymnastics and then home for a quick lunch. Then we were on our way to the Main Event. Elizabeth loved her party location. It started with a sign on the door that said "Its Simply Elizabeth's birthday" The girls colored until all the guests arrived and then they all picked out what they wanted to paint and away they went. That part was supposed to last longer but they were all so into painting that they were done in a little less than an hour. Ella would still be there putting layers on her box but I finally was able to pry her away.

We went downstairs to the party room and they all had snacks, juice and cupcakes. Thank you everyone for coming to the party and being so nice to Elizabeth. She was playing with the different gifts last night. I told Holly at one point during the event that its too bad that I can't find a party place where Elizabeth can be the director of a movie. She was making sure all day that everyone was in their spot and doing what she thought they should be doing. At least she is getting more polite about it but she does that every year on her party. Love you Elizabeth and wouldn't change you for the world. Just promise if you do direct a movie, that I get to go to the premiere. :-)

Today we are taking Dad to church and then later we are going to go visit JunFen and bring some cupcakes to her too. Then we are hanging out at home and having burgers on the grill. It looks like its going to be a wonderful day out there.
