First off... Thank you Grandma Jo and Uncle Jerry for taking the girls last weekend. They had a wonderful time and love spending time with you. They really love you Joanne and Jerry and I am blessed to be part of your family.
I brought the girls to Elk River on Thursday night. Elizabeth didn't have school on Friday so that worked out great.
I was able to go to a Surprise Birthday Party for Cindy C. She had a big birthday this year. She is the first of our group of friends to hit that number. Technically I am turning the same number later (Much Much Later) this year but I don't feel that old. Do you Cindy? I asked her if she has her AARP card too. Wonder if Todd got his?
I stayed out later than I have in a very long time. We all rode together and had a great time. Almost like we were in Highschool again. I think it was 2:30 AM Wow. I did fall asleep in the van on the way home though. LOL
Saturday I did alot of work getting paperwork organized and set up the spare room more. I am hoping to use that as an office/craft space for me. I have ideas about the girls craft projects and pictures that I want to do some sort of keep sake and need the space. So I did that most of the day on Saturday.
Sunday I went and picked up the girls and we have been going nonstop since then.
Tuesday we were able to hang out at home after school and work and that was so nice. The neighbors were out so we all visited while the kids played. I love my neighborhood but found out one of the families is going to be moving. Bummer. But, I wish them well.
Last night Elizabeth had Faith Formation and Ella and I went to the library again.
Today at lunch I checked out a school for Ella. I signed her up for the PreK kindergarten but she didn't get in to the two I picked so I am checking out others. The one today looked good. And she is only going to be there one year and then go to school with Elizabeth at Yinghua.
Tonight we are going grocery shopping for us and Dad. We also have to pick up a treat for Elizabeth to bring to school. She is turning 7 on Sunday and wants to bring a treat tomorrow. Last night I told the girls they could watch TV tonight but it might be tight time wise. Here's hoping we move through the store with amazing speed and don't forget anything on our list or Dad's.
I promise to have pictures again soon.
