Today both girls had field trips. I have no vacation yet so I was not able to go to either - sort of.
Ella and the Daycare group went to the Farm. They go every year and its a blast. Here she is the first year Ella was with us. I was able to go that year :-)
Here she is that same year trying to bond with the bunnies
I did get a picture of Farmer Ella in her farm gear this morning. She was saying No Momma while I was taking the picture. See how she is getting ready to cross those arms? :-)

All the kids LOVED the farm and good naps were had by all today.
Elizabeth's field trip was a Track and Field day at the new school location. Actually it was at the park that is right next to the new building. We can't get in the new building yet but I loved that they brought all the students there. The faculty is really working hard to make the transition easier on all the kids.
Elizabeth really wanted me to be a chaperon. I wanted to but I don't have vacation time yet and she understood. I promised that next year I'll go on a field trip with her class. But, she talked about me having to miss the event at breakfast again. I had something in the works for a possible surprise so I didn't say anything. Thankfully it all worked out.
But - This is the part where you can't tell my boss.
I took a long lunch today so I could surprise Elizabeth.
The kids were all going to do events like Shoe Kick Toss, Floatie Javeline Throw, Bean bag toss, Relay Race, etc. It was so cute. I got to see a couple events. I was standing behind Elizabeth's group when they were doing the relay race. She ran fast and then went right in the back of the line without even noticing I was there. LOL So I said Hi Itty. Oh My Goodness... she was happy. I watched a couple more events and then sat with her while she had lunch. All in all I was gone an extra hour. I'll make up for it next week.

AKA Floatie Fling.

Circle time right before Lunch

Isn't this park amazing? Its huge and connected to the school grounds. As I told Elizabeth at Lunch. I think we will be very happy at this new location. She agreed. Elizabeth also had the great idea of having a play date / picnic there this summer. Love it and will do it.
I have to share a funny story too
Ella - Sorry I was laughing at you. But it was oh so funny and oh so hard to not laugh.
Todd had dinner with us after we all went shopping. Ella was sitting by Todd after dinner and asked him "Do you know what boy Mermaids are called?" "mermans" They even had a little conversation about it. I could not help laughing. Todd had no idea why I was laughing or why Ella was into Mermans. Ariel is big this week.
Another quip. Ella told us she has two boyfriends and they are her best friends. But when she is mad at Adrian, she plays with Toni (little girl at daycare) who is her best little friend. Her other boyfriend is Jacob I believe. Or it could be Tim. She talked about Tim from school all the time.
Elizabeth also has had boy issues this week. We had bought Mac and Cheese Pokeman and we had that as part of supper last night. She picked that box so she could bring the empty one to school to show the boys. I guess they didn't believe her there was Pokeman Mac and Cheese so my girl was going to prove them wrong! Way to sock it to em Itty. My only question is was this really a topic of conversation on the playground?
One more picture.
Here is Elizabeth and Ella at Elizabeth W's birthday last week. It was fun and of course both girls want their next Birthday Party there.
