Every Day is Better When It Starts With A Song About "P"

Yup... I am that kind of Mom.

I sing silly songs in the car to my girls.

Today we were driving along and I started singing and using Ella's Bear as the vessel. I even used him to wave at a guy that was passing us. ;-) I don't know if that young man found it funny though - I did.

We went the way to school that we call the Bump way. That means we went around the park the back way and there are like 8 speed bumps. So I was saying B U M and then P when we went over the Bump. Both girls were laughing like crazy people. And once you bring up P, the conversation naturally goes to But*. More crazy laughter. :-)

That's when it hit me. I have not done that in the car for awhile and it was a great way to start the day. Elizabeth was still smiling when we got to school. I also told them we should keep the P and But* talk to just us. But, if I get a call from Elizabeth's school telling me she is saying But*, I will be the one doing the crazy laugh.
