Elizabeth has been wiped out this week. She was too tired to take a bath tonight and was asleep by 7:45. I'll have her take a bath before school tomorrow. She is getting her homework done and getting great notes from her teachers. Today when I picked her up she said "I didn't fight with XXXXXXXX today!" GREAT! And there were no calls from school or discussions with the After Care staff except for letting me know that Elizabeth got her homework done. And she sat next to someone at lunch and talked with her a little. Baby steps but hopeful.
Now Ella is another story. Their normal bed time is 8 pm so when Elizabeth went to sleep Ella said "I don't want to sleep Mom" We read 5 books and I turned on her music and put her to bed. I have since walked her back to her bed after she crawled from her room to mine and gave me the cutest smile ever. Little Charmer... LOL now she is crying softly because she doesn't want to sleep. She did this Tuesday night too. Hopefully she gives up the fight alot sooner than she did that night. I think it was 11 pm before she gave up that night.
Two different personalities I guess will bring two different ways of handling change. I'll need to remember this next time. Maybe I should have Ella run laps around the house before bedtime. :-)
