Before I took the girls to Grandma Jo's and Uncle Jerry's, I caved and let them open one present:
Here is Elizabeth putting it together
Here is the snow from at 9:40 pm on 12/23

Thank you Todd for shoveling the drive way! I did the sidewalks but still wasn't sure my little car could make it through the snow to get the girls. Todd was very nice to bring me to meet Joanne and Jerry to pick up the girls. 4 Wheel Drive Rules. The girls and I relaxed a little at home and then went to church with Dad and Uncle Kevin. The alleys were plowed great so we used them to get to the main roads. Both girls fell asleep in Mass :-) After church the girls and I went to Todd's Mom and Dad's for their family celebration. It was a lot of fun.

"How did Santa Know I wanted this MOM?"
"YES!! Dora Crystal Kingdom!"
Elizabeth is loving her camera
Had to include the bed head shot :-)
Ella came in my room at 6 and Elizabeth at 6:05. After we opened presents, we put our winter gear on so we could go out and shovel. This time it was heavy wet snow and it took me a very long time. We started about 9 and it was all done by 11:20. Kevin and Jeremy came over and did the crud the snow plow left and cleaned up what I didn't get to. Thanks guys. So then I did a quick shower and off to Kevin's we went. I can't believe it but I did not get a picture of Kevin or Dad - what a bummer.
We had a wonderful meal and then the kids started opening more presents. Here is Noah with his gun case from his Grandpa. (I can't believe my brother is a Grandfather)
Doreen, her sister Joan (crocheting away to get her son's afghan done), Lyndsay and Jeremy. Thank you again Jeremy for cleaning up the snow crud!
That is also Alissa's side shot and Hunter's back.
Here is Josh and Laura and Lee. Doreen's sister Patti is behind Lee and so is Dad but you sure can't tell.

Joan, I am so thankful that you got to the girls safeAlso it's great to have people who look after you when that snow gets heavy - it is hard to do by yourself. I am so thankful that some of my neighbors, including one I didn't know, helped me out.
Oh - with that gift of Elizabeth's her ir hockey skills may be over my head at camp this year :-)
