Here I am having a treat before I go wrap Santa's gifts.
My girls are with Grandma Jo and Uncle Jerry for a sleep over. I took them there earlier today and hung around for a bit. I think Ella wanted me to leave sooner. She asked me 5 or 6 times, when are you leaving Mom? :-) On the way home I stopped at the grocery store to stock up for the upcoming blizzard. After I got home, I picked up and started some wash and then looked outside. The snow has started and it looks very pretty.
I am sitting here questioning my decision to volunteer to work the holiday tomorrow. I am working 6 am to 1 pm which is why the girls are at Joannes. I'll get an extra day off and some extra money but am worried now about the storm. I think I'll leave at 12 tomorrow to get the girls. I hope I don't wake too many neighbors tomorrow when I shovel the first pass at 5am. Joanne and Jerry are going to meet half way so we should be back home in time for me to shovel the second pass before we meet up with my brother, Dad and niece at Mass.
Safe travels everyone.
Many Many Many thanks Grandma Jo and Uncle Jerry. I know the girls are having a ball.
Updated at 5:30 am on 12/24/09 - I am working from home :-) I haven't even started to shovel but decided it wasn't worth it to drive in. Luckily my boss told me ahead of time that it was ok. :-)

Enjoy your evening flying solo Joan...and safe travels tomorrow in the snow. Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful girls!
I glad to hear that you can work at home!
We too, are expecting a snow storm of varying degrees....in fact, I can 'hear' it now as I am typing. This storm begins with sleet, then snow, then rain, and then possible more sleet!!
I believe we will be tucked in all day and into tomorrow morning!!
I pray that you can safely bring your girls home!!!
I really do enjoy following your blog....your girls are precious!
Merry Christmas!
