But, I just can't help it.
The last few nights Ella has been really enjoying the meals I have made. That makes me happy. Elizabeth likes parts but not all. That is also ok. We are eating a little better on the nights we don't have gymnastics and faith formation and I hope it balances it all out.
But, last night was chicken and Ella had two helpings. During dinner she said something and I had to stop and think to make sure I heard her right. She was pointing to her full cheeks. And Yup... She said "Look at my Butt Cheeks Mom".
Both Elizabeth and I took a moment to be sure and then I explained where Butt Cheeks are and that the ones on the face are just Cheeks. Then all three of us just started laughing and laughing.
Thank you Ella!

I have a similar story with Flynn. When I get her out of the tub I wrap her in a towel and pat her bum and say "I love these cheeks!" She laughs.
The other day Grandpa was asking Flynn to find parts of her face. He asked her to show him her nose and she pointed to it--then her eyes--eventually Grandpa said, "Show me your cheeks!" Flynn very proudly pointed at her butt and could not figure out why we were all laughing! :-) Greta.
