Sorry you developed a fever today.
We have been counting down the days until Ella turns 5. She asked every day, "How many days until my Birthday Party Mom?" She really wanted to know when she was going to be 5
Last night Ella decided she wanted to be 4 still. Turns out she was worried she would go to a new school on Monday because she was now 5. After I explained will stay at this school until the school year was done, she was glad to be 5.
At 3pm today I got a call from day-care. Ella woke up from her nap with a fever and complaining that her back hurt. She mentioned her back hurting this morning but she didn't have anything else going on. I just figured she played hard the day before. I was worried though when there was a fever too. So, before I left work, I tried to get Ella in to the doctor. The nurse said there is a virus going around with back pain and fever. She has an appointment tomorrow morning.
But, she is doing a lot better this evening. We had a delicious dinner of Ramon Noodles (not me) and some popsicles and now Ella has more energy. Bed soon though.
