It was really fun

Even though the final selection was the second to last dress.

First Communion Time soon so we went shopping for a pretty white dress tonight for Elizabeth.

We brought in 6 size 7 dresses and 3 size 6 ones to the dressing room.

Some of the comments were: "Not this one Mom, the white flowers are too big and bug my waist", "I don't like the puffy under the dress" "It's too puffy Mom" "Put that one in the Maybe spot" "This one feels funny on my waist" "Too big"

I let her pick but when we had 3 maybes and no more to try on she was able to decide. I pulled one out and said, I think you like this one the best and her eyes lit up and she nodded her head super fast.

Elizabeth looks stunning in her dress.

We also found a veil and shoes.

Everything we bought was on sale and I had a coupon for $20 more off the total (Thank you Liz for bringing your coupons to work today).

Ella was asking for a pretty dress too but we are going to wait on that.

I did buy her new PJs though (Elizabeth got some too)

Fun fun night.

UPDATE:
Elizabeth has decided I don't have a vote in where the veil is placed on her head. She wants it farther back than I do. She decided Grandma can help her though. I am good with that because Auntie Joanne has great taste and wonderful tact. :-)

My Mom did not make a dress. If she had, we would be using that for sure. But, almost all of my Grandma's Granddaughters wore the same dress. It was really cool how it was passed down to each family when it was needed for one of the girls. When I get a chance I'll post a picture of me with my Grandparents in the dress soon.
