Yesterday afternoon day care was closed and Elizabeth was off school for the day. So, I took the day off too. Ella was in school in the morning. Elizabeth and I started planning our time to spend together days ago. We were both looking forward to it and I loved every moment. For a long time it was just Elizabeth and me in our family and we love Ella but its nice to reconnect again with just us. I have many times where Ella and I have alone time but the times with Elizabeth were shrinking.
We needed this.
Breakfast together at one of our favorite places. They have booths with steps to get into. Plus great food and wonderful conversation. And Elizabeth scored big. I gave her some quarters to get candy from the machine but the waitress showed her a trick and she got a huge handful without having to pay. And then she brought over a brand new pencil and pencil sharpener for my girl. Score!
Then we dropped off a pair of boots and shoes to the shoe repair place. They are still good just need a little love.
From there we went shopping for new shoes for Elizabeth. She got some nice everyday shoes and some rocking sandals.
We still had time before getting Ella and Elizabeth wanted to go to the library. So we did. She picked out 3 books and then we went to get Ella.
Ella ran to us and held Elizabeth's hand and walked her around her room and waited to introduce her to Miss Ana.
