Slowing Down

I just looked at our wall calendar and we have had stuff going on every Saturday this month. We have had alot of fun but its time to slow it all down.

Yesterday we had a blast though and this morning Ella told me that it was a really good play we saw yesterday Mom. It was nice of Mushou to help Mulan talk like a boy. Yup... we saw Mulan Jr and it was amazing and wonderful. We went with friends and the girls all got to meet Mushou after because Malia's Grandma and Grandpa knew the cast. Very cool!

Thank you Michelle for sending this cute picture.  Don't worry folks, Ella is sad because she lost a $.49 barrette in the theatre. 

After a great lunch the girls and I went home. (11 am show time and lunch after is a great idea with kids). Ella was struggling with her behavior and had lots of highs and lows and finally laid down and slept for over THREE hours. Elizabeth helped her calm down and tucked her in and asked me to give Ella a hug which I did. Then Elizabeth and I cleaned up bedrooms (except Ella's) and rearranged Elizabeth's room.

We all went to bed by 9:30 and Ella did not have a problem going to sleep even though she woke from her nap at 6:30. Today we are going to the Farmer's Market and the Flower Store so we can work on our yard and have healthy food to eat. We are also going to rearrange Ella's room today. After she saw Elizabeth's she said "oh that's different" and "Can we do mine Mom? I'll help"

The girls are watching Sponge Bob while waiting for me to make waffles and Ella keeps yelling out "Squidward, you're my hero" :-)
